Fire & Ice Ritual

$25 per person

Reconnect with your natural rhythm through the healing contrast of hot and cold.  Sink into a steaming wood-fired soak, where warmth seeps deep into your muscles. Then, embrace the refreshing chill of a cold plunge — awakening your spirit, calming inflammation, and recharging your whole system.

Set in a peaceful rustic setting, this elemental ritual draws on timeless wisdom to restore body, mind, and breath.

It’s more than a bath. It’s a return to yourself.

Time:  Varies depending on your preference.  Typically we start it in the evening when we have a request.   It is ready at about 8pm.

We manage the fire ONLY when you request it.  This keeps the session private for you.   The sauna has WIFI to allow for music and making fire stoking requests.

Children under 12 are free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Sunrise Farm Chores

Donation

Wake up with the farm and step into the rhythm of self-sufficient living! Your experience begins at sunrise as you arrive at our historic homestead, surrounded by rolling pastures and fresh country air. We’ll start with a brief introduction to farm life before heading out to care for the animals.

First, you’ll visit the chicken coop and turkey pen to feed, water, and collect fresh eggs while learning about their role in a sustainable farm. Then, you’ll help care for our gentle horses, providing their morning feed and water while getting a chance to interact with them up close. In the fall and winter, we’ll tend to our woolly sheep, ensuring they’re well-fed and comfortable. Next, we’ll stop by the bunny hutch, where you can feed and interact with our playful rabbits.

After chores, we’ll gather for a cup of farm-fresh tea or coffee, sharing stories and tips on self-sufficient living. Leave inspired, with hands-on knowledge and a deeper connection to farm life!

What Our Guests Are Saying

★

Feb – 2024

Kim-Tony are super caring and welcoming hosts that they met us at the gate and gave us a tour of the farm. We met the animals, had fun by the lake, made a fire outside the cabin at the designated spot and stayed at the warm, cozy Moose Cabin.

The experience star gazing was absolutely amazing. We stayed till a bit past the midnight and saw sooooo many stars (there are binoculars provided in the cabin).
Lots of books, DVDs, cookwares and utensils provided in the cabin. It is a great place in the nature and away from the cities, we would definitely hope to visit again in the future and would 100% recommend!

May – 2023

This place is really special. If you are looking to completely detach and unwind, Kim and Tony’s place is ideal. The cabin has everything you need to be comfortable, and the surroundings are breathtaking! It was so nice to have no sound of the city disrupting our peace and quiet.

Kim and Tony are fantastic hosts and are experts on the area. They provide great directions to local attractions and are a wealth of knowledge. We will definitely book again!

Oct – 2024

We stayed 3 wonderful weeks with Kim and Tony’s family in september ! It was like a dream ! They welcomed us in their paradise home, like we were a part of the family ! They are warm, friendly, welcoming, interesting, fun…only qualities !

We visited different places with them (a Pow wow, 108 mile house’s market center…), hiking (waterfalls, lakes, cabins…), gardening, building the sauna’s place, planing, fishing, feeding the animals and so many things ! They teached us a lot of things, we talked together about nature, environment, plants, ways of life… They took care of everyone in order to everyone matters, feels well !

Without speaking of the Haley’s delicious deserts, Kim’s delicious meals and discussions, volley ball parties that all the family teached us, Oliver’s massages and William ‘s tickling parties with Yan, bording games together, movies during rainy days, pizza’s parties, teepee’s party… All was fun and amazing, even job 😊 ! Tony is an ingenious man, who builds with all kinds of recycle things, always smiling and Kim too 😊. We can’t forget them and hope to see them again !
